The installation of new LED lighting at 1515 Broadway, corporate headquarters for Viacom in New York City, will retrofit lighting to move to LED technology. This will reduce energy consumption within retrofit areas by more than 55 percent at the Times Square property.
Revolution Lighting Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:RVLT) subsidiary Seesmart, Inc. has been selected by office landlord SL Green Realty Corp. to retrofit more than 1,100 lamps at the 1.8 million-square-foot property.

SL Green will install 1,100 Seesmart LED lamps, replacing antiquated lighting within constantly lit areas, including stairwells and mechanical spaces to reduce retrofit lighting energy consumption by more than 55 percent. In addition to providing great energy efficiency, this technology will last more 50,000 hours, dramatically reducing lamp replacement costs over time.
