GB Energie LED partners with SunLand Global Inc., a Native owned company, to supply Revolution Lighting’s LED Solutions
Partnership will leverage LED solutions from Revolution Lighting Technologies to reduce energy costs and reduce lighting energy use by more than 65%
WASHINGTON, Feb. 07, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GB Energie LED, a minority, woman-owned business committed to sourcing sustainable energy solutions, today announced it has signed a partnership agreement with SunLand, a Native-owned LED lighting company aimed at bringing energy saving solutions and services to Indian country. SunLand’s goal is to reduce tribal nations’ energy consumption through LED, which in turn supports tribal self-sufficiency through energy reduction. SunLand strives to utilize local Native-owned companies for product installations, and may provide workforce development and training as needed, thereby creating employment opportunities on or near tribal lands.
The new partnership will focus on addressing energy efficiency opportunities for tribes and tribal organizations, including the replacement and rebuild of existing lighting with Revolution Lighting Technologies’ high performance LED lighting solutions. SunLand Global Inc. is a Temecula, CA based company owned and operated by Joseph Moose. Joseph is Paiute, Mewuk and Luiseño Indian and is an enrolled member of the Bishop Paiute Tribe. Mr. Moose graduated with a B.S. degree in Business Administration and has over 15 years in Construction Management experience. Additionally, he has served as a Project Engineer for Flincto Construction, Project Engineer/Tenant Coordinator at Continental Building Systems, Project Manager/Public Works Director for the Bishop Paiute Tribe, Project Manager for the Lone Pine Paiute Tribe, and as the General Manager of the Big Pine Paiute Development Corporation. Mr. Moose has completed over $250 million in retail, public, housing, utility projects. Together, the companies will be addressing energy efficiency and lighting rebuild projects, installing high-efficiency LED lighting solutions and updated fixtures in educational facilities, hospitals, government buildings and for exterior street lighting. GB Energie LED and SunLand will utilize Revolution Lighting solutions to reduce lighting energy use by more than 65%, increasing light output and providing significant long-term operational and maintenance cost saving.
